About
Built by operators, for operators.
We built Seller Calculus because every tool we tried solved 10% of the problem. After nearly two decades of running real Amazon businesses, we built the platform we wished existed.
Why This Exists
After years of running Amazon businesses, we kept hitting the same wall.
The data existed. SP-API has everything: inventory, velocity, Buy Box share, order history, fees. But none of the tools connected it into a single operational picture. Inventory decisions were made in one tab, repricing in another, advertising in a third, and P&L in a spreadsheet built six months ago that nobody trusted anymore.
We built Seller Calculus because every tool we tried solved 10% of the problem. The other 90% was tribal knowledge locked in spreadsheets, Slack threads, and the heads of operators who'd been burned too many times by their own tools. The platform exists to make that knowledge systematic.
Every feature in Seller Calculus was built to solve a real operational problem in a real Amazon business. Not because a product manager thought it sounded good on a roadmap. That distinction is why the edge cases are handled, the data model reflects how real catalogs work, and the product is built for operators managing real complexity.
The Gap We're Filling
There are two kinds of Amazon tools. Neither is an operating system.
Reporting tools (Sellerboard, Inventory Lab) tell you what happened. They're excellent at P&L calculation, fee reconciliation, and historical analysis. They don't help you decide what to do next.
Research tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout) help you find and launch products. They're built for the growth phase: keyword research, listing optimization, competitor analysis. They're not built to operate a catalog you already have.
Seller Calculus is an operating system. It takes the data you already have and turns it into decisions: what to reorder, what to reprice, which campaigns to scale, which products are at risk, and what your inventory is worth to a lender. The goal is to replace the morning reconciliation sprint with a dashboard that tells you what needs attention.
Who We're Building For
Amazon sellers running real catalog depth and real operational complexity.
Sellers where a 2% margin error on a single PO costs five figures. Where a stockout on a top SKU means losing Buy Box share to a competitor within hours and spending weeks recovering organic rank. Where "just run a report" isn't a strategy because the reports don't connect.
If you're under $500K GMV, doing retail arbitrage, or looking for your next product to launch, there are better-suited tools for that stage. Seller Calculus is built for operators who already have a business to run and need the intelligence layer to run it well.
What We Believe
Your data belongs to you.
We don't sell it, share it, or train models on it. Your SP-API credentials are read-only by default. Every write operation requires explicit authorization you control.
Software should make decisions, not just display them.
A dashboard that shows you thousands of SKUs is a report. A system that tells you which 14 need attention today and why is a tool. We build tools.
Operators know things consultants don't.
The best features in Seller Calculus came from watching experienced Amazon operators work. Not from frameworks, not from VC-backed product sprints. From nearly two decades of running real catalogs.
Speed of decision matters more than precision of report.
A good decision made today with 80% information beats a perfect decision made next week with 100% information. Seller Calculus is built around that.
